I've been busy

It seems like the world has been racing by lately. I've been letting lots of things slip. Like this blog, my house, and to some extent my family. Over the last year I have been focused on changing myself. I want desperately to recapture part of myself that I lost. It started with an attitude change about exercising. Then a change of opinion on food. So far I've lost right at 35 pounds. Now I am going to focus on finding happiness. Not as easy as losing weight but just as important. So if I go long times between post please forgive me.....I am off finding myself.

Family Game Nights

We have been playing games more as a family lately.  Operation, Trouble, Chess, and Twister.  Here are two photos of us having a good time.  The twister is my favorite.

The funniest thing I have ever Seen!

Okay, I am easily amused.  It is a fact.  And I have a really strange sense of humor.  And in advance, I am going to say, sorry Jason, I could not resist.

Jason recently went to the Dr. with nose problems.  The Dr. decided he had the start of a sinus infection and gave him antibiotics and suggested that he use a neti pot.  When he filled it up and used it I almost died laughing.  Water coming out of his nose was way too funny.  So here is a photo.

Snuggling on the Couch

I just love seeing Jason and the dogs snuggling up on my couch.  When I walk by and see them it just makes me smile.  Here is a recent picture of Jason and Gretchen.

Stars Wars in 3D

Is it wrong that we are excited to go see Star Wars in 3D?  It does not matter that we have seen it before, we are going on opening night to see it.  And the bonus?  Darth Maul limited edition glasses!  Woot.
